Description

For senior strings (gr 4-6) this romantic Tango features gorgeous tunes with the Habanera rhythm underpinning. Lush harmonies and interest in all parts (OK, except the double bass!), this is a great piece for ensemble playing and developing vibrato.

There is a piano version available separately that mirrors this piece exactly. It might be useful for rehearsal purposes…

Please note: For most of my educational string pieces, the viola part is available for 3rd violins. There is NO transcription possible for the Tango – it was really nice to write for the viola in its proper range 🙂
