Music for in between grades 1 and 2

A series of short piece for the developing violinist.

These initially came from ideas I created for my students to help get over certain technical challenges, and I’ve grouped them into this collection.

I’ve tried to create musically satisfying pieces, encouraging legato and staccato playing, scale passages, string crossings etc, but focus on stylistic playing to bring out ‘the music’
